Therapy is an investment in your emotional health, relationships, and long-term well-being.
At Akili Wellness Services, I provide client-centered, trauma-informed therapy for high-achieving adults and couples who value depth, accountability, and meaningful change.
This work is designed for individuals who understand that emotional wellness is foundational—not optional—to sustainable success, connection, and fulfillment. If you’ve done the vision board, the promotion, the curated life… but still feel something’s missing? This is the space where we figure out why—and help you come home to yourself.
Session Rates & Frequency
Your growth deserves consistency—or concentrated depth.
At Akili Wellness Services, therapy is a meaningful investment in emotional wellness, relationship health, and sustainable success.
Standard Therapy Sessions:
-
Individual Therapy: $260 per 50-minute session
-
Couples Therapy: $260 per 50-minute session
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to establish a strong foundation, deepen insight, and create momentum toward their goals.
As progress becomes more consistent, we may shift to bi-weekly sessions—always based on clinical fit and collaborative agreement.
Good Faith Estimate & Private Pay Transparency
In alignment with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected therapy costs before services begin.
If you do not have insurance or are choosing not to use it, this estimate helps you make an informed decision about your investment in care.
Here’s what to know:
-
- You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services
- I will provide it in writing at least 1 business day before your first session
- If your actual billed amount is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute the charge
- Keep a copy of your estimate for your records

At Akili Wellness Services, I’m committed to transparency, clarity, and honoring the emotional and financial commitment you’re making to yourself.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the cancellation/rescheduling policy?
A: At Akili Wellness Services, I honor both your time and mine with a clear, flexible rescheduling window. If you need to miss a session, you’re welcome to reschedule it during a three-week window—the week before, of, or after the original appointment.
If the session is not rescheduled within that timeframe, the full session fee will be charged. This policy applies regardless of the reason for absence.
To support balance and life flexibility, each client receives two “freebie” absences per calendar year for vacations or extended personal leave. Just let me know when you’d like to use one.
Please note: if I need to cancel for any reason—vacation, training, or emergency—you will never be charged.
Q: Do you take insurance?
Aligned care, without insurance constraints.
Akili Wellness Services is a private-pay practice and does not accept insurance.
This model allows for:
-
- Greater privacy (no diagnosis sharing with insurance)
- Customized care (not dictated by insurance limitations)
- Depth of work that isn’t rushed or reduced to symptom checklists
Clients who wish to use out-of-network benefits can request a monthly superbill to submit to their PPO insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
If you’re considering reimbursement, it’s a good idea to call your provider and ask:
-
- Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?
- What is my reimbursement rate for therapy?
- Is there a deductible I must meet first?
- Are there limits on sessions per year?
- Do I need prior authorization?

Choosing therapy is a personal decision, and it’s important that the financial investment feels aligned with your current life season. During your consultation, you’re encouraged to assess whether this level of care is the right fit for you—clinically, emotionally, and financially.
Q: How can I pay for therapy/sound sessions?
A: We require a credit or debit card be kept on file. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards, including HSA/FSA cards.
We can provide a monthly statement you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement (if applicable), which typically includes required information such as diagnosis code, NPI, and billing codes.
Q: What is the annual cost of therapy?
| Frequency | Sessions/Year | Annual Investment |
| Weekly | 52 | $13,520 |
| Bi-weekly | 26 | $6,760 |
Note: Actual session frequency is determined collaboratively.
Q: What if I’m not sure I can commit financially?
A: Therapy is a significant investment. Use your consultation to assess whether this level of care is aligned with your needs—emotionally, financially, and seasonally.
