The change is visible—but the impact is invisible.

Maybe you ended a relationship, started a new role, relocated, became a parent—or decided not to.

Maybe you’re building something new (a business, a boundary, a belief system) and you’re more disoriented than you expected.

Maybe you’re finally pursuing what you want—but feel guilty, untethered, or scared you’re messing it all up.

You’re doing the thing everyone claps for—but inside, you’re unraveling.

When life shifts, even for the better, your nervous system keeps the score:

      • Sleepless nights
      • Anxiety about the unknown
      • Decision fatigue and doubt
      • Emotional ups and downs you can’t predict or manage

And underneath it all, a quiet fear:

“What if I’m not built for this next chapter?”

These inner struggles don’t stay contained.

They affect your work, your relationships, your health, your ability to show up.

You second-guess yourself at every turn. You shrink or overperform. You feel like a stranger in your own body—and sometimes in your own life.

That doesn’t mean you’re broken.

It means you’re in a transition.

And transitions require support.

You don’t have to hold it all together while everything’s shifting.

Imagine waking up without the mental tug-of-war between “I should be grateful” and “I feel like I’m drowning.”  Imagine not having to fake confidence when you’re scared, confused, or grieving something you can’t even name.  Imagine trusting yourself to make the next move—not because it’s perfect, but because it’s aligned. Therapy helps you move from overwhelm to grounded clarity.  From internal chaos to emotional stability.  From trying to do it all alone… to being supported through the shift.

Transitions can stir up old wounds

Wounds such as, abandonment, fear of failure, imposter syndrome, people pleasing—and that’s where we begin.

We’ll use Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) to explore what your nervous system is trying to protect. Together, we’ll surface the attachment patterns, stories, and survival strategies that are driving your current emotional response to change.

With Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), we’ll release the stuck energy that’s showing up as fear, tension, or indecision—especially if this season of change echoes a past loss, rupture, or trauma.

And through Somatic Attachment work, we’ll create felt safety in your body so you can respond to life from a place of alignment—not anxiety.

This isn’t about “pushing through.” It’s about honoring the transition and finding your footing inside of it.

Therapy for Life Transitions can help you…

      • Process grief, endings, and identity shifts with clarity and compassion
      • Make aligned decisions without spiraling into doubt or guilt
      • Regulate your nervous system so stress doesn’t call the shots
      • Rebuild your confidence and sense of self in a brand-new season
      • Let go of who you were without losing who you are
      • Show up in your next chapter grounded, self-trusting, and emotionally whole

It’s possible to move forward without abandoning/losing yourself.

FAQ's

Q: Is therapy really helpful for something like a breakup or career change?

A: Absolutely. Major life shifts—whether chosen or unexpected—can bring up anxiety, grief, identity questions, and past trauma. Therapy offers a grounded, supportive space to process what’s changing and move through it with clarity and self-trust.

Q: What if I’m not sure what I’m feeling?

A: You don’t need to come in with perfectly articulated emotions. That’s part of the work. Together, we’ll slow down the swirl and explore what’s coming up, emotionally and physically, so you can understand and support yourself better.

Q: How long will therapy take?

A: That depends on your goals and what feels supportive for you. Some clients benefit from a few months of focused work; others choose longer-term support. We’ll regularly check in to assess progress and adjust as needed.

Q: Do I need to be in crisis to start therapy?

A: Not at all. Therapy is just as valuable in seasons of change, self-reflection, or growth. You don’t have to wait until you’re at a breaking point to get support.

Methods

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

We’ll gently release the stress, fear, or grief that’s stored in your body—especially if this life transition is stirring up echoes of past trauma, loss, or abandonment. EFT can support real-time nervous system regulation, so you don’t stay stuck in emotional survival mode.

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)

Helps us identify and shift the emotional patterns rooted in your attachment system—the ones that make you feel unsafe, overwhelmed, or unsure during times of change. We’ll explore the deeper needs driving your reactions, so you can respond with more clarity and self-compassion.

Somatic Attachment

Helps restore safety and connection between your mind and body. You’ll learn how to notice cues from your nervous system and build resilience from within, so you’re not just “handling” change—you’re healing through it. helps you notice and shift the unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety and perfectionism. Together, we’ll challenge the internal voice that says you’re never doing enough—and replace it with one grounded in clarity and self-compassion.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

If you’re in the middle of a major shift—or standing at the edge of one—therapy can help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re grieving an ending, questioning your next chapter, or trying to reconnect with yourself along the way, this is a safe space to explore it all.

Let’s walk through it—together.
